Effects of nanoparticle concentration and peclet number on nanofluid droplet evaporation behavior

Effects of droplet parameters are reported using model simulations on the evaporation characteristics droplets containing insoluble nanoparticles and related to formation shells particles. The initial diameter (do), particle mass fraction (Yvo), Peclet number (Pe) based fluid rate constant (K) diffusivity in (Dpl). Time-dependent phenomena instantaneous size (d), d2 vs time (for example, following d2-law or deviation from it), efficiency (i.e., effective area due inclusion surface compared a pure droplet) reported. Analytical expression shell at such as formation, size, derived with computational results. It is found that behavior nanoparticles, including d2-law, independent do but strongly influenced by product Pe·Yvo.
